Program Development/ Training
Knowledge and experience required to attain commercial helicopter and R-ATP multi-engine airplane ratings synergized well with the commercial UAS industry as it developed. From a non-regulatory environment, 333's (ours was CXXX), to todays 107 regulations, the FAA has provided a path for professional commercial integration of unmanned systems. By September of 2023 ALL UAS over 250 grams will broadcast a serial number (not personal ID) that can be detected via smartphone or tablet. FAA implementation of remote ID increases public safety and is supported by VBS.
